i have a summer intern whose nails are
so well-polished and bright each week that
she inspired me to paint my finger nails
i paint my toe nails a lot
but not fingers
why?
i had forgotten until tonight
turns out i suck at painting my fingers
particularly my right hand
typing this with my left hand
while my right one dries
for the fourth time i've tried to get it right
why cant i get it right
i can do many things but painting my fingers is not one
they are not cute
maybe ill wear gloves to work tomorrow
i also was dumb and picked red
